Around the yard


Can you identify?




Do you know what kind of butterfly this is?




This may be the same bird as picture one




No idea what this guy is either




One is the loneliest number




There's just something about watching a leaf's lackadaisical journey on water



These guys have made themselves scarce since the mockingbird took over

White-breasted Nuthatch,Black Swallowtail,Northern Mockingbird,Song Sparrow.Very nice photos.

Yes the first in a Nuthatch. We used to get them in Pa but here only once in a while. Love your leaf pictures. Thanks for your comment on my Grand-Baby blog post!

I see you got your lovely critters identified. I knew the butterfly was a swallowtail, but would have had to look in my book to see which one. Nice shots!
