I'm on SPRING BREAK!!!!!!!

What a semester.  I am on a well deserved spring break.

I am not going to Florida.

I am not going on a Cruise.

I am not going on vacation.

I am staying home.  I am writing (or starting) several papers.  One I'm really looking forward to - Administration of  mental health services in rural areas.

I am having lunch with friends.  At least once.

I am working on a service learning project - Nature Deficit Disorder.

I am having a colonoscopy - and yes the prep is terrible.

I am cleaning my house.

I am hanging my clothes outdoors to dry.

I am laughing and playing.

I will sleep late at least once.

I will take pictures.

So, pretend you're on vacation and tell me what YOU would do!

Oh wow....sounds like your break is going to be very full;)
Hmmmm...I'd like to go out hiking in my mountains if I had a break. Definitely wouldn't want to do the colonoscopy thing, but lunch with friends- yes:)
Have a wonderful (laugh-filled) day:)

And here I thought we would see you on Campus PD -- (a cable show similar to Cops, but involving college students.) Enjoy your time off, girlie. You deserve it! :)

I'm on Spring Break too! Love your plans--well, not the whole prepping for the colonoscopy--but the rest sounds great!

A vacation at home is the best way to truly get some REST--which I'm sure you will need after this semester... When we go on vacation, I have to take another vacation when getting home just to REST.. ha ha

Have a great week and do everything that YOU want to do....
Hugs,
Betsy

My son will be on spring break next week, he will probably stay home and sleep all day every day. Me, I would sleep in a few days and not do much of anything, except maybe write. Have a nice spring break. I feel for you on the prep, been there - done that.

Hi Cathy,
Enjoy your time off. That sounds like a great list! I have the week after next off. I am hoping to dig out the area next to the fencing around my veggie garden and putting rabbit fencing next to it. We'll see how far I get. I have half a notion to hire someone to help me. There's a young man who tilled for me, who I thought about calling.

I hope the colonoscopy goes OK.

You have a good list. You must be reading Last Child in the Woods for the nature deficit disorder. One year at break i drove to a little town just to say I went to Jamacia, well it was in Iowa.Your test sounds so fun, no food except Jello and drink this crap that makes life so easy.

Sue,
I would definitely call that young man!

Steve, yes I've got the book, although in my opinion Louv is a bit of an extremist.

Enjoy your break. I don't envy you with the colonoscopy though. Beautiful blog.
