I have to admit, I love checking my email. Yes, I play on facebook a little bit and I blog here, but I love getting email.
Especially this week.
We are pleased to inform you that you have been admitted to our Master of Science in Social Work.
I thought I would probably get in, but I wasn't sure. There was a lot of self-doubt. Doubt about being able to raise a family, work, and go to school. Doubts about taking on more student loan debt, doubts about my own abilities at grad school level, doubts about missing more time with my children...
There will always be doubt.
But this is something I need to do for me. The quantity of paper work, even after being accepted, is unbelievable.
That being said, it's time I believe in myself.

Congratulations! I have doubts, too, about ever getting my children's stories published. It is kinda like that saying, The only thing we have to fear is fear itself. Just have to keep pushing forward.

Self-doubts chase us all of our lives. But it doesn't mean that they can stop us :) Good luck with everything.
I don't know why you ever had doubts, I never did. From your
1st through 8th grade you always worried about not doing good, but always excelled and then received all kinds of awards from your teachers/principal at your 8th grade graduation there was never any doubt that you could achieve anything you wanted. So what if it has taken a little longer. There is never a limit on learning all you can. Wish we could have seen you yesterday when we were in KY. (Mom)
