Taking a moment to breathe

Here's the sandbox that I recycled into a planter.  Radishes on the left and mustard greens on the right.

This is when I truly know spring is here.

This little fellow kept playing peek a boo with me.

These three kept prancing around but wouldn't get any closer.

I snapped this one just before the bird took off with his treasure.  I think it is a whitebreasted nuthatch.

A few more weeks and I'll be out for summer.  Unfortunately I am taking 6 hours this summer in order to graduate in December.  I was honored to win two scholarships recently.  I'm so excited!

I've  been working on my resume this morning because I want to do an internship in the fall.  I visited one location but it isn't the type of environment for everyone - juvenile sex offenders.  They typically do not allow female interns, but I am the exception, so we'll see.

Also, Smoochie #2 is being recognized Monday night for his achievement on the scores on the KCCT (Kentucky Core Content Test).

I am so blessed.

I also appreciated your comment on my Nontrad blog posting. I like your photos! Are you on Flickr? I think you have photographic and artistic talent. So you are getting ready for an internship and taking classes. That is exciting.

My internship in Teaching was kind of like they say internships are for doctors. Hardly any sleep, and work, work, work. But I'm glad I did it anyhow. :-)

I am going to add your blog to my like list on the NT blog. Good luck on everything.

Good luck with your internship. I have two social workers doing their internship with us. They have been awesome. They will be leaving at the end of this month...I will sure miss those girls.

Congratulations on your scholarships; well done! Great idea, using the sandbox as a planter; I think I'll drag out the child sized old swimming pool and do likewise.

You are right...that is a White-Breasted Nuthatch. Love that shot with a seed/nut in the beak.

Enjoyed seeing all of your very Springy photos!:)

PS....I didn't have any damage from our recent bout of storms. Whew! I am blessed also.
